This Black Bear visits us quite often and I was getting closer and closer, and then realized he was getting closer as well, while staring at me. I was within 25 ft and decided that was close enough.

I was in the pasture photographing the apples trees in the fog. This cow left the heard and slowly walked up to me and sniffed my tripod. I removed my camera in case he knocked it over and I caught him licking it ..probably wondering if it taste edible. My tripod is made by Slik.
