This soft leaf belonging to a Hosta, caught my eye as it curled and looked as though it was supporting a branch from another flower. Like this branch was thirsty and stretching to reach the rain drops. I loved the added texture with the velvet raindrops.

Turtle Gerbera

Photographing flowers isn't just the color and bloom. It can be surprising what you find when you look closely at the petals. This raindrop covered Gerbera Daisy resembles a Leatherback Turtle swimming amongst bright orange seaweed.

A group of trees in full peak color of autumn, that sit above Beaver Pond in Kinsman Notch. It was mostly cloudy with just enough sunshine to make the colors seem more vivid than usual. This section of forest also tends to have brighter colors than other areas in the White Mountains.
