A black and white version of Old Orchard Beach Pier. Taken on a calm warm afternoon. The sky was filled with swift moving storm clouds, with rays of sun and then bursts of rain. The tide was slowly rolling in, wetting the sand for a peak of reflection.

Cannon Cliffs

This is a spectacular wall of rocks with lots of rippling texture and colorful tones. It is the side of Cannon Mtn and where the Old Man in the Mountain used to preside over the valley. This was a favorite rock climbing site but the strong winds and peeling shale make it very hazardous.
